Visited Clearwater Beach with Carolyn's family!

Nic was diagnosed with leukemia and moved home to Houston for treatment. This started our two years long distance.

Throughout our time long distance, we always made the priority of visiting each other as often as possible. Nic made sure his visits to me lined up with Arkansas sporting event scheduling.

We celebrated our one year anniversary at our favorite place in Fayetteville -- YeeHawg.

Nic moved back up to Fayetteville to finish his senior year, and Carolyn moved to Dallas for cosmetology school. Nic continued to make sure visits coincided with Arkansas sporting events.

Nic graduated from the University of Arkansas and was accepted to the University of Houston Law Center that fall!

We moved into our first apartment together, which was conveniently across the street from Minute Maid Stadium, home of the Astros.

Nic took Carolyn to her first Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo!

We took our first trip abroad together to Athens & Santorini, Greece!

We got engaged!!
